The cylinder pictured below is filled 3/4 full with water.  If the cube pictured below is sunk into the cylinder, will any water spill over the sides? (Scroll for answer below)

Volume of Cylinder = pi * r2 * h = 113.04 in3
3/4 * (113.04) = 84.78 in3 of water in the cylinder

Volume of cube = len*wid*ht (or side3) = 27 in3

Space Occupied by Water and Cube:  84.78 in3  + 27 in3  = 111.78 in3

The water level will come close, but not spill over.
